When the body’s defences are weakened, perhaps by a cold or through stress, cold sores can quite often appear.  Cold sores can also often reappear as a reaction to environmental factors, most notable exposure to strong sun or high winds.

If you want to reduce the chances of cold sores recurring then you might want to conisder taking the supplement, L-Lysine.  This is an essential amino acid which the body needs for growth, development and to repair tissue.  It also inhibits viral replication which helps keep cold sores at bay.
